New Year, New Me

Happy 2023 to all!

Every New Year, people worldwide make resolutions and set new goals.

Are you one of those people?

I know I am. Well, kind of.

I used to make resolutions and goals every time a new year started. But as time progressed, that got old.

For the past few years, I have decided to change it and make a “theme” for each new year.

This year is “Rebuild. Refresh. Revive. Thrive”.

The reasoning behind each theme is based on how I want my life and myself to reflect God’s plan.

Each theme I choose doesn’t just stop when the year ends, but it’s something I build on.

For instance, one year, my theme was “Let go and let God.” That’s not something I wanted to last just that year. It’s something I want to keep doing on top of the new theme for the next year.

Every year I want to reflect on my life. What can I do to better line my life up with God’s purpose for my life?

Each new year that comes is another blessing from God. Every day, every hour, every second, is a blessing.

I don’t want to let any moment of my life pass with regret; I want to fulfill God’s plan for my life.

This year I want to trust God with everything. I want to give Him my all. After all, He’s the One that gives me breath each second of my life.

This year, I challenge you to reflect on how your life aligns with God’s plan.
